Family medicine is defined as the medical specialty which provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family. Our practice includes acute and chronic care for all ages, male and female, each organ system and every disease entity.

We admit patients to Porter Hospital for acute care. Porter Hospitalists are responsible for your inpatient care at Porter. These physicians are available 24/7 and are specialists in hospitalized patient care. If you would like more information contact Porter Hospitalist Administration at (802) 388-4756.

We also offer a variety of other health care services through the work of our “Community Health Team” members including Dietician/ Nutrition Services and Behavioral Health. See below for more information on our Community Health Team members and the services they offer.

We strive to work as a team with our patients as partners in improving and maintaining their optimum health, and to meet the needs and expectations of our patients when they are sick or injured.
