Patients may see some temporary changes in the way they experience MyChart. Some information will appear as scanned documents in the My Documents section for visits that occurred while the electronic health record was down. Upcoming appointments, messages, and some test results may take a little longer to appear in MyChart. For any urgent matters, patients should call their provider’s office.
New MyChart sign-ups and activations are temporarily unavailable.
Porter Medical Center’s Patient Portals are online tools that help you to manage your healthcare easily and securely, allowing you to view your personal health record whenever and where ever you have access to the intranet.

An Important Note About Billing:
MyChart allows you to view and pay Porter Physician bills (but not Hospital bills) dated on or after November 9, 2019.
If you have:
- A Porter Physician bill dated on or after November 9, 2019, you are able to pay for it in MyChart.
- A Porter Physician bill dated on or before November 8, 2019 or a Hospital bill with any date, you can pay it online: https://PatientPortal.PorterMedical.org
NOTE: You will be able to pay Hospital bills in MyChart in November 2021.
How to Sign Up
The FIRST STEP is to sign up for the Portal at your local provider office or Porter Hospital. (Due to HIPAA requirements, you must sign up in person)
Once the Portal is activated, you will log on using the the “Hospital Portal” link above. Then, simply enter your user name and password.
There is a Contact Us section on the homepage of the Portal that allows you to submit any questions you have regarding the Portal.

Where does my health information in the Portal come from?
All of the information in the Portal comes from your Porter Medical Center Electronic Health Record. This ensures that you have access to the most accurate, up-to-date information possible.
How will I log into the Portal?
Once the Portal is activated, you will log into the “MyHealth Portal” link on Porter Medical Center website. Then, simply enter your user name and password..
Can my family access my Portal?
Yes, you can give family members, such as parents or healthcare proxies/agents, access to your Portal. This needs to be done within your healthcare facility and requires consent from you and your family member(s).
Is my information safe?
Yes. Portal passwords are encrypted and URLs are re-written so that they cannot be copied and pasted. You and authorized family members are the only ones who can access your Portal. Also, a timeout feature protects your information if you leave the Portal page open.
