The generosity of community members has always played an important role in the progress and overall success of Porter Medical Center, including Helen Porter, which has served as Addison County’s only skilled nursing facility since 1970. Helen Porter Rehabilitation and Nursing home provides long-term care, memory care, short-term rehabilitation, palliative, and end-of-life care in one convenient location on the Porter campus.
The 2022-23 People for Porter annual appeal will support the $4.5 million Helen Porter Improvement Project, to facilitate critical updates for the aging facility. Your donation will fund renovations in the memory care wing, common areas, facade and outdoor courtyard. All improvements aim to promote a caring environment in a comfortable setting for those who live and receive care at Helen Porter.
If you prefer to direct your gift to PMC’s unrestricted fund, you may choose this option on the online form, or include a note with your donation by mail. Unrestricted gifts will fuel our mission to improve the health of our community, one person at a time
