Monica Benjamin, DNP, MBA, MSN, FNP-BC, RN

Dr. Benjamin has been a part of Addison County community since 2003 when she was a swim coach for the Middlebury Aquatic Club while attending the University of Vermont.  During this time, she found that she truly enjoyed helping people reach their goals.  This drove her to nursing school in 2010 and after graduating from Duke University, she returned to Middlebury to start working in healthcare as a registered nurse (RN), as she enjoyed taking care of patients so much and wanted to be more involved in their care, Monica decided to go back to school and become a nurse practitioner.  Monica started working as a board certified family nurse practitioner (FN-BC in 2015 after graduating from Georgetown University.  She joined the Porter Pediatrics team in 2016 and since then has enjoyed creating trusting relationships with patients.  Monica has special interest in preventive care, mental health and concussions.
