Elizabeth Coogan, MD, FAAP

Dr. Coogan grew up in Massachusetts and went to Colby College in Maine.  After earning her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School she moved to Denver to completer her residency in pediatrics at the University of Colorado.  After residency she worked in the Denver area as a primary care pediatrician in the Kaiser Permanente system for 4 years.  Eager to return to New England  and be closer to family, Dr Coogan moved with her family to Middlebury in 2020 and started her  job at Porter in January 2021.  She loves taking care of children of all ages and especially enjoys developing long-standing relationships with families.  In her free time Dr. Coogan enjoys being with her husband and two children, running, skiing and cooking.
