General visiting hours are 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.

Special Care Unit for members of immediate family only

To ensure patients' optimal health and healing, we ask that you please respect hospital personnel's requests regarding safety guidelines and individual patient needs.

Latex balloons are not allowed in the facility.

Flowers are not allowed in the Special Care Unit due to patient’s illnesses and space.

Cafeteria is located in the Collins Building.

Cafeteria hours:
Mon-Fri
Breakfast 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Dinner 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Closed Weekends

Vending machines are located on the floor outside of surgical OB(drinks and snacks) and waiting room floor go past admissions and up the ramp (coffee and sandwiches available here)

Porter uses Volunteer Chaplains please let your nurse know if you would like assistance

Parking for visiting patients is located to the left when entering the hospital.

Handicapped parking spots are located by the Emergency Dept. entrance and by the business office building.

For the health and well being or our patients and staff, Porter Medical Center is smoke free in all buildings and grounds (except designated areas outside).
