The physicians and audiologists at University of Vermont Health Network Porter Ear, Nose and Throat and Audiology provide state of the art specialty medical and surgical care to our patients in Addison County and beyond.

Our practice covers all areas of community Ear, Nose, Throat and Audiology care:

Ear Health

Our physicians specialize in medical and surgical care for a broad range of conditions affecting children and adults including recurrent ear infections, ear injuries, hearing loss, and dizziness.

Our audiologists provide a full range of hearing testing for adults and children including school screenings, CDL and evaluation of tinnitus and age-related hearing loss. We provide expertise in hearing aids and other hearing assistance options for all situations.

Nasal and sinus disorders

We provide medical and surgical care for infectious and obstructive disorders of the nose and sinuses including allergic rhinitis,sinus surgery, surgery for nasal congestion and treatment of nasal injuries.

Allergy treatment

Our office is one of the largest providers of allergy testing and immunotherapy in Vermont. We provide skin testing for all the common seasonal and year-round allergens for our area as well as common food allergies. We provide allergy shots and sublingual allergy drops for many patients when allergy medications are not successful at controlling their symptoms.

Throat

Our physicians evaluate and treat a spectrum of throat disorders in adults and children. We evaluate and treat chronic infections of the tonsils and adenoids in children and symptoms of sleep apnea in all age groups. We evaluate and treat symptoms of hoarseness and swallowing disorders as well as masses and diseases of the salivary glands and glands of the neck.
